Quiet Face is a close-cropped portrait of a watchful harbor woman, rendered with simplified features and a steady sideways gaze. Watercolour, monotype and translucent paint create a weathered surface of deep teal, bone and ink-blue planes, lifted by a single blazing orange glove. The mood is calm, intimate and slightly mysterious, making it a striking choice for a bedroom, living room, hallway or gallery wall.
